About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate EHR projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of electronic health record software applications
- Plan, manage, and coordinate project activities for multiple and large projects
- Create project plans and timetables and track execution and workflow
- Prepare, present, and distribute project status reports
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, team members, vendors, and other departments
- Support the Engagement Leader and Project Team by monitoring project implementations
- Ensure deadlines are met and escalate issues for timely resolution
- Adhere to standardized project management practices
- Serve as liaison to project sponsors, project teams, and stakeholders
- Work with internal and external groups to optimize project deployment success
- Interpret assignments and make independent decisions on course of action
- Perform related duties as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 4 years of project management experience, preferably with EHR implementations
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and Excel
- Able to travel to client sites as needed
- Good social and presentation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High self-initiative with the ability to work well and adhere to deadlines
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening
- Results driven, focused on achieving results and navigating complex healthcare environments and needs
- Experience as an EHR Project Manager preferred
- PMP Certification preferred
- Willingness to travel 25% preferred
