About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and improve AI-powered product features from idea to delivery and ongoing maintenance
- Explore new AI capabilities and identify useful customer applications
- Evaluate and improve the quality, reliability, and usability of AI features
- Contribute to application and service design in a microservices ecosystem
- Design and launch new features and plan releases with internal teams
- Write clean, maintainable code and keep applications performant, reliable, and secure
- Collaborate with QA engineers, UX/UI designers, the Product Manager, and other engineering teams
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and build efficiency
- Ship features end to end, including at least one AI-powered feature
- Own and improve an engineering process such as release flow, build pipeline, or dependency updates
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience with Java, Spring, and REST APIs
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, and other JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with Python
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases
- Solid understanding of design patterns and clean code principles
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and build tools such as GitHub Actions, Maven, and Docker
- Familiarity with cloud architecture
- Practical, critical approach to AI; daily use of AI tools and understanding of their limitations
- Collaborative way of working
- Good written and spoken English
- Experience bringing AI features into production or with agentic frameworks (nice to have)
- Experience with observability tools and evaluation processes (nice to have)
- Scripting skills (Shell or Python) for automation (nice to have)
- Experience owning an engineering process end to end (nice to have)
- Experience with monorepos or other complex codebases (nice to have)
