About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage business process analysis, process re-engineering, and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Analyze, evaluate, and document current-state business operations, workflows, information systems, and organizational processes
- Develop future-state process models and implementation strategies
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee information systems, systems analysis, business process modernization, technology integration, and organizational transformation efforts
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, interviews, and working sessions to capture, validate, and prioritize requirements
- Assess organizational and program risks, dependencies, and constraints and develop recommendations
- Establish performance baselines, KPIs, and process measurement methodologies
- Develop, maintain, and standardize process documentation, governance artifacts, SOPs, business rules, workflows, process guides, and operational frameworks
- Build and evaluate financial models, cost estimates, business cases, ROI analyses, and cost-reduction strategies
- Provide technical and business consulting expertise regarding information systems, process automation, technology capabilities, implementation approaches, operational impacts, risks, and costs
- Translate business requirements into functional requirements and collaborate with system engineers, software developers, architects, and technical teams
- Lead large-scale technology and business improvement projects
- Develop recommendations for organizational change management, implementation planning, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption strategies
- Evaluate project and organizational performance metrics and recommend improvements
- Serve as a technical authority and subject matter expert across multiple programs
- Mentor and provide technical direction to junior analysts and project staff and may directly supervise personnel and project activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related discipline
- Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in business process re-engineering (BPR), process modeling, operational analysis, or continuous process improvement
- Must possess an active U.S. Government Security Clearance
- Must have a CompTIA Security+ certification or be able to obtain one within established timeframe
- Demonstrated experience leading complex business process analysis, business transformation, and technology modernization initiatives
- Comprehensive knowledge of information systems, systems analysis, business process improvement methodologies, and project management principles
- Experience conducting financial analysis, cost estimation, business case development, and performance measurement activities
- Strong ability to evaluate operational requirements, assess risks, and develop strategic recommendations for complex business and technical challenges
- Proven ability to independently lead major assignments with minimal oversight while coordinating efforts across multiple stakeholders and functional areas
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills
