About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the editorial strategy for AI and data across communications, presentations, stories, executive messaging, QBRs, events, and other channels
  • Maintain visibility into the content ecosystem, including published content, audience messaging, traction, gaps, and inconsistencies
  • Build and maintain systems that make content reusable and discoverable
  • Run and improve the content library as a product for leaders and content creators
  • Steward narrative consistency by identifying conflicting messages, overlapping content, and simplification opportunities
  • Own the data and DxP wins story engine, sourcing, shaping, and recirculating data-outcome stories
  • Partner with DxP and EDO teams to maintain a continuous story pipeline
  • Curate and update examples, success stories, use cases, proof points, and executive narratives
  • Work with ECO and Global Comms on CGweb and SharePoint
  • Advise leaders and content creators on message selection and audience context
  • Edit and refine content across formats for clarity, consistency, and alignment with change objectives
  • Create scalable content operations using AI where possible
  • Establish an intake and prioritization process for content requests
  • Measure content discovery, reuse, and reduction in duplicate work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Exceptional editing skills, including identifying inconsistencies, repetition, weak logic, and unclear messaging
  • Ability to think in systems and organize complexity
  • Strategic judgment about whether stories, examples, and messages advance broader narratives
  • Strong journalistic instincts and ability to identify relevant, credible, and compelling stories
  • Ability to build institutional memory and create content management systems
  • Strong understanding of Capital Group’s audiences, leaders, and context
  • Experience running and continuously improving a tool, library, or process used by others
  • Experience with AI and data change communications, presentations, executive messaging, QBRs, events, or related content operations
  • Ability to use AI to create scalable content operations
  • Ability to measure content discovery, reuse, and reduction in duplicate work
