About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the Data Consumer Experience team within Data Platforms Engineering
Integrate vendor tools
Validate how open-source analytics software operates across cloud platforms
Maintain a healthy, governed, and scalable consumer ecosystem for thousands of daily users
Partner with business leaders across the firm to shape tool usage for generating business insights
Build and integrate large-scale cloud data services into cohesive products and platforms
Enable teams across the business to build, consume, and distribute data products at scale

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related technical field
At least 10 years of experience in a combination of software engineering and data engineering, reporting, and analytics
Experience leading data engineering and/or technical teams
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, and Terraform
Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders and setting expectations on best practices and operational excellence
Experience with vendor management and holding vendors accountable to their roadmaps
Experience building cloud infrastructure using AWS cloud services
Experience managing delivery of complex projects
