Shape how Capital Group uses AI to create competitive advantage in the investment process
Set strategic direction and lead product development of AI-enabled research capabilities
Translate business outcomes into strategies, prioritized roadmaps, and viable software solutions
Guide solutions through discovery, design, build, launch, and adoption
Launch pilots, measure results, learn from outcomes, and scale solutions that deliver value
Partner with investment group leaders, investment professionals, researchers, engineering, product, enterprise, and technology teams
Build a differentiated data and technology foundation
Capture and use unstructured investment knowledge, including meeting notes, expert conversations, and research summaries
Represent investor and business needs
Align priorities across dependent teams and applications
Measure product and business metrics to drive adoption and lasting value

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, finance, or a related field
Master’s degree highly preferred
At least 10 years of experience in product strategy and product development
Experience developing and launching software products from vision and roadmap through execution
Track record of delivering measurable business outcomes
Experience developing and leading AI strategy and data-driven transformation
Ability to redesign processes and workflows rather than simply automate existing ones
Deep understanding of investment research, including how analysts and portfolio managers form views, make decisions, and use data and judgment
Experience in asset management, an investment firm, or a research-driven financial services environment ideally preferred
Highly analytical and passionate about product discovery
Experience leading lightweight, iterative experiments and pilots
Demonstrated executive influence and ability to build trusted relationships with senior business leaders and sophisticated investors
Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences
Experience solving ambiguous, high-stakes strategic problems at the executive level
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex, multi-disciplinary engagements
Ability to set up and lead high-performing teams and mentor and coach product managers
