About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the data product management function for Capital Group’s trusted source of client and prospect data
  • Own the vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for global client profile data products
  • Master and connect intermediary, institutional, plan sponsor, investor, and plan participant data
  • Lead a team of Data Product Managers, Managers, and analysts
  • Partner with business owners, stewards, engineering, architecture, and governance teams
  • Ensure client profile data products are trusted, comprehensive, accessible, compliant, and AI-ready
  • Power accurate coverage, sales crediting, personalization, and client experiences
  • Own the collective business impact of the Global Client Profiles portfolio
  • Mature the data product management practice as it scales globally
  • Influence cross-functional business, technology, and operations organizations
  • Represent the organization in industry discussions and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in investment management distribution
  • Deep knowledge of intermediary, institutional, and investor business models
  • Expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) and data modeling
  • Experience creating enterprise-wide views of clients, advisors, institutions, relationships, affiliations, and accounts
  • Experience building and managing strategic data products from vision through execution
  • Experience developing and managing logical data models for complex client ecosystems
  • Understanding of digital identity, personalization, client engagement, access management, regulatory compliance, and enterprise-wide business operations
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled capabilities to improve data quality, uncover client relationships, generate insights, and enable personalization
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools, metrics, governance frameworks, and data quality practices
  • Experience partnering with engineering, architecture, data governance, operations, and business leaders
  • Experience leading high-performing teams, including managers and senior analysts
  • Exceptional communication skills with senior managers, directors, and executive leaders
  • Experience in highly regulated, data-intensive organizations
  • Technical fluency in MDM, data modeling, and digital identity enablement
