Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a highly dynamic and cross-functional team of Accounting subject matter experts
Provide strategic direction for moderate to large complex initiatives
Understand customer expectations, gaps, and technical constraints; drive requirements
Partner with lines of business and finance teams
Use problem-solving and influencing skills to ensure initiatives deliver on intent
Provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to drive delivery
Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders
Manage project work in dynamic, complex environments
Communicate with and influence stakeholders at all company levels
Lead through change and prioritize diverse tasks
Support Controllers Central Integration Team and transform the Finance organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 5 years of experience in accounting, accounting integration, finance, audit, or a combination
At least 3 years of experience in project management, product management, or a combination
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, or Agile certifications
Preferred: At least 1 year of experience managing direct or indirect reports
Must not require new employment authorization sponsorship from Capital One
