About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations for review with management
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for review with management
- Research and resolve data issues as they arise
- Identify and drive process improvements
- Participate in challenging project initiatives with the team
- Provide business requirements for data collection and sourcing, and provide compliance efforts to outside auditors
- Perform ad hoc requests
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree, or military experience
- At least 1 year of experience in public or corporate accounting
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (preferred)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in public, corporate accounting, audit or finance or a combination (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience with Google Office or Microsoft Office products, or a combination (preferred)
- Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position
