About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform daily cash positioning, bank reconciliations, funding execution support, rewards funding calculations, bank account administration, and reporting inputs
  • Handle first-level operational tasks and transactional workflows
  • Prepare daily cash data, support reconciliations, maintain documentation, and track exceptions
  • Perform detailed financial analysis and reporting for senior management decision-making
  • Maintain Segregation of Duties (SOD) and strong internal controls
  • Serve as a Treasury support point of contact for cross-divisional internal teams
  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for management review
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports
  • Participate in team project initiatives
  • Provide business requirements for data collection and sourcing and support compliance efforts for outside auditors
  • Perform ad hoc requests

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or military experience
  • 1 year of experience in public or corporate accounting
  • CPA preferred
  • 2 years of experience in public or corporate accounting, focused on financial services preferred
  • Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position
