About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver strategic product outcomes for Cryptographic Services in the Data Protection domain
  • Drive product vision into development teams and translate vision into delivery objectives
  • Communicate delivery roadmaps and articulate target personas, customer benefits, and feature value
  • Provide customer-informed guidance and represent the customer voice to engineering teams
  • Apply cybersecurity, software, systems engineering, PKI, encryption, data protection, cloud, design thinking, and analytics expertise
  • Participate in research and design sessions for new features and cryptographic domains, including post-quantum cryptography
  • Develop and maintain a healthy product backlog with the Product Manager, Engineering, and Solution Architects
  • Break down business epics, document user stories, design details, and comprehensive acceptance criteria
  • Lead backlog refinement sessions and prepare epics and stories for technical planning
  • Prioritize the product backlog to maximize business and customer outcomes while reducing cyber and operational risk
  • Advise product managers, engineers, and stakeholders on technical matters
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams and participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies
  • Support teams through escalation and resolution of impediments
  • Use data-driven insights to drive performance and innovation
  • Identify opportunities when security, resilience, and performance metrics are underperforming
  • Maintain technical and risk credibility across the technology organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology
  • At least 4 years of experience evaluating, contributing to, or supporting development of cybersecurity capabilities
  • No employer-sponsored immigration or work authorization support for new applicants
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in cryptography
  • Preferred: 6+ years of experience solving cyber technical challenges
  • Preferred: 4+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into products
  • Preferred: 6+ years of Cyber Product Owner experience
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in technical writing
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in scaled agile product management
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience with cloud products such as AWS KMS or CloudHSM
  • Preferred: Experience in regulated financial services organizations or tech companies
  • Preferred: Two or more professional certifications, such as SAFe PM/PO, CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CCSP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or AWS Security
