About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with cross-functional teams of data scientists, AI/ML engineers, and product managers to deliver enterprise products
  • Design AI/ML models and build solutions for agentic AI products
  • Define long-term strategy and analyze and optimize ecosystem impact
  • Drive business value at enterprise scale
  • Design experiments, including A/B tests
  • Model telemetry and turn results into AI strategy and guidance for C-suite leadership
  • Use Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark, and other technologies to analyze large volumes of numeric and textual data
  • Build machine learning models through design, training, evaluation, validation, and implementation
  • Translate complex data science work into tangible business goals
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and apply state-of-the-art methods
  • Retrieve, combine, and analyze data from varied sources and structures
  • Develop talent and challenge conventional thinking with stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining by the scheduled start date, a qualifying degree in a quantitative field
  • Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of experience performing data analytics, or Master's degree/MBA with quantitative concentration plus 7 years, or PhD plus 4 years
  • At least 4 years of experience leveraging open-source programming languages for large-scale data analysis
  • At least 4 years of experience building/deploying AI/ML models in production
  • At least 4 years of experience designing and analyzing A/B tests
  • Experience with clustering, classification, sentiment analysis, time series, and deep learning
  • Hands-on experience developing data science solutions using open-source tools and cloud computing platforms
  • Preferred: PhD in STEM plus 5 years of experience in data analytics
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience working with AWS
  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience with Python, Scala, or R for large-scale data analysis
  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience with machine learning
  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience with Spark
