About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead technical programs delivering critical business goals and large-scale products and platforms
  • Establish TPM operating mechanisms, maturity models, and tooling across portfolios
  • Drive program roadmaps aligned with business objectives, definitions of done, technical solutions, and dependency sequencing
  • Lead cross-platform technical investment planning and architectural alignment for platform convergence and reuse
  • Serve as an executive-level escalation point for program risks
  • Influence technology leaders to make data-driven tradeoffs among speed, cost, and resiliency
  • Define measurable platform success outcomes, including availability, scalability, cost efficiency, and developer velocity
  • Ensure delivery accountability across multiple engineering teams
  • Develop and advance the TPM/Delivery discipline within the organization
  • Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to move Generative AI models from concept to production
  • Drive programs involving multi-agent conversational systems, agentic AI architectures, inference optimization, and model pretraining/finetuning workflows
  • Ensure alignment with risk, compliance, and business objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • At least 7 years of experience managing technical programs
  • 7+ years of experience designing and building solutions using distributed computing or service-oriented architecture (SOA) (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services/architecture, preferably AWS (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience building highly scalable products and platforms (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience delivering large and complex programs (preferred)
  • Experience building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment (preferred)
  • MBA or master’s degree in a related technical field (preferred)
  • PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification (preferred)
  • 3+ years of people management experience or experience influencing an organization as an individual contributor (preferred)
  • Experience driving platform standardization across multiple product portfolios or lines of business (preferred)
  • Track record of building TPM maturity, including operating models, career frameworks, and metrics, at scale within engineering organizations (preferred)
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills (preferred)
