About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead programs delivering critical business goals and large-scale products and platforms
Contribute to the organization’s TPM and delivery strategy by establishing operating mechanisms, maturity models, and scalable tooling
Drive development and alignment of program roadmaps anchored in business objectives, definitions of done, technical solutions, and dependency sequencing
Lead cross-platform technical investment planning and ensure architectural alignment toward long-term platform convergence and reuse
Serve as an executive-level escalation point for program risks
Influence technology leaders to make data-driven tradeoffs between speed, cost, and resiliency
Define measurable platform success outcomes, including availability, scalability, cost efficiency, and developer velocity
Ensure delivery accountability across multiple engineering teams
Help establish and expand the TPM discipline within the team
Leverage industry knowledge and experience to teach the organization what effective TPM can achieve

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a technical field
At least 7 years of experience managing technical programs
7+ years of experience designing and building solutions using distributed computing or service-oriented architecture (SOA)
3+ years of experience building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services/architecture, preferably AWS
3+ years of experience building highly scalable products and platforms
3+ years of experience with Agile delivery
3+ years of experience delivering large and complex programs
Experience building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment
Experience driving platform standardization across multiple product portfolios or lines of business
Track record of building TPM maturity at scale within engineering organizations
Exceptional communication and influence skills
