Key responsibilities & impact

  • Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions
  • Use Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, open-source relational and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
  • Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and set design, development, and operational-excellence standards
  • Partner with architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks
  • Identify improvement opportunities, reduce technical debt, and enhance system performance
  • Influence long-term technology strategy through emerging-tool and practice evaluation in a you-build-it-you-own-it environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
  • At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply
  • At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
  • No employer-sponsored immigration or work-authorization support available for new applicants
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Preferred: 7+ years coding with more than two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, Scala
  • Preferred: experience with databases, AWS/GCP/Azure, open-source frameworks, front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, APIs, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, AI coding tools, observability, mentoring, cross-functional engineering initiatives, coding standards, and design patterns
