Key responsibilities & impact

Design and scale resilient, low-latency global payment architectures for high-volume, cross-border transaction processing and multi-currency financial workflows
Leverage AI-powered coding assistants and agentic workflows to accelerate delivery, automate routine tasks, and write secure, robust code
Lead diverse technology projects and a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full-stack systems
Share technology knowledge, experiment with emerging technologies, participate in technology communities, and mentor engineers
Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions supporting financial empowerment
Use Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and shape system architecture and long-term technology direction
Drive end-to-end design and implementation of large-scale distributed and cloud-native systems
Partner with architects and product leaders to define platform roadmaps and shared-services strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
At least 6 years of experience in software engineering; internship experience does not apply
At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies

Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred: 9+ years of experience coding with more than two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, Scala
Preferred: 5+ years contributing to open source frameworks
Preferred: 5+ years with front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks
Preferred: 5+ years creating synchronous and asynchronous APIs
Preferred: 4+ years with databases and database management systems

Preferred: 4+ years with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks
