Design and scale resilient, low-latency global payment architectures for high-volume, cross-border transaction processing and multi-currency financial workflows
Use AI-powered coding assistants and agentic workflows to accelerate delivery, automate routine tasks, and write secure, robust code
Lead diverse technology projects and developer teams building distributed microservices and full-stack systems that meet regulatory needs
Stay current with technology trends, experiment with emerging technologies, participate in technology communities, and mentor engineers
Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions supporting millions of Americans
Use Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, open-source relational and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and shape system architecture and long-term technology direction
Drive end-to-end design and implementation of large-scale distributed and cloud-native systems
Partner with architects and product leaders on platform roadmaps and shared-services strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
At least 6 years of experience in software engineering; internship experience does not apply
At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies

Preferred: 9+ years of experience coding with more than two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, Scala

Preferred: 5+ years creating synchronous and asynchronous APIs
