About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the organization’s operating model, including priority setting, capacity planning, work sequencing, and tracking
Drive efficiency and capacity management by identifying bottlenecks and rebalancing workloads
Design and run planning cycles, governance forums, and reporting cadences
Provide visibility into delivery health, risk, and tradeoffs
Align dependencies and surface cross-organizational risks
Lead and develop program and project managers and operations associates
Partner with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into executable plans
Build scalable, repeatable processes that reduce ad hoc firefighting
Report directly to the Managing Vice President of Product

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 10 years of project management experience
At least 5 years of people management experience
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification (preferred)
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills (preferred)
Excellent problem-solving and influencing skills (preferred)
Must be able to work without new employment authorization sponsorship from Capital One
