About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, document, and maintain the enterprise-wide Google Workspace Collaboration Platform
  • Design, document, and maintain the enterprise-wide Microsoft M365 Collaboration Platform
  • Translate business objectives and risk tolerance into platform configurations, security practices, and data handling policies
  • Develop IAM strategy for Google Workspace and/or M365, including MFA, SSO integration, and context-aware access policies
  • Architect, implement, and manage a Google Drive content management program to prevent unauthorized sharing of sensitive data
  • Maintain lifecycle-based governance processes for third-party applications accessing Workspace data
  • Ensure Google Workspace meets regulatory and legal framework requirements through configuration, operation, and auditing
  • Apply Google Vault data retention, eDiscovery, and legal holds with Legal, Compliance, and HR
  • Identify automation opportunities for repetitive administrative tasks
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and answer user questions
  • Monitor system performance, security, and data integrity; proactively address potential problems
  • Implement Google Workspace updates and improvements
  • Develop documentation and training materials
  • Remediate vulnerabilities and maintain platform operations
  • Monitor platform support Slack channels and address customer issues
  • Align platforms with current architecture and configuration standards
  • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless platform integration
  • Work with product owners on application capabilities and testing scenarios

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics)
  • At least 6 years of experience designing and maintaining cross-platform or cloud integrations
  • At least 5 years of experience developing or supporting API-based integrations using scripting or orchestration tools (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, MuleSoft)
  • At least 4 years of experience automating system configuration or data workflows
  • At least 4 years of direct, hands-on experience architecting, administering, and securing a large-scale (1,000+ user) Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 collaboration environment
  • At least 1 year of experience implementing monitoring, observability, and automated remediation for integration reliability and performance
  • 1+ years of experience influencing integration strategy and architecture within a product or platform team
  • 7+ years of experience working in a cloud-based environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • 8+ years of experience with deployment tooling (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory)
  • 4+ years of experience in Agile practices
  • 8+ years of experience designing and optimizing enterprise-scale integration solutions
  • Experience mentoring senior engineers or leading cross-functional technical initiatives
  • Experience managing vendor relationships or cross-functional teams supporting integration or automation platforms
