About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage Google Workspace, including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, and Meet
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and answer user questions
  • Monitor system performance, security, and data integrity
  • Implement Google Workspace updates and improvements
  • Develop documentation and training materials for users
  • Build and maintain platform operational capabilities, including vulnerability remediation
  • Monitor platform support Slack channels and address customer issues
  • Lead platform availability, resilience, and scalability
  • Collaborate with the Architecture team on platform architecture and configuration
  • Encourage automation, innovation, and adoption of emerging technologies
  • Develop and apply best practices to improve user experience
  • Use scripting languages such as Python and Bash
  • Work with Docker, ECS, Ansible, Terraform, and AWS tools and services
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers to ensure software works seamlessly on the platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting or maintaining cross-platform integrations or system connectivity
  • At least 3 years of experience developing or supporting API-based integrations using scripting or orchestration tools
  • At least 1 year of experience driving testing, testing frameworks, or integrating new platforms
  • At least 1 year of experience administering Google Workspace
  • 4+ years of experience working in a cloud-based environment (AWS, Azure, GCP) (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience with deployment tooling (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory) (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile practices (preferred)
  • Experience managing identity and access within systems (preferred)
  • 4+ years of experience implementing or maintaining API-based integrations (preferred)
  • Experience collaborating with architects or platform teams to define integration frameworks and reference architectures (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience automating infrastructure or system configuration using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or like technologies (preferred)
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools including CloudWatch, Splunk, and Datadog (preferred)
  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading small integration-focused initiatives (preferred)
