About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Understand desired application capabilities with data, process, owners, and consumers, and explain limitations in non-technical terms
Build and maintain platform operational aspects, including vulnerability remediation
Monitor platform support Slack channels and address customer questions and issues
Keep Google Workspace features and best practices current, implementing updates and improvements
Improve file storage processes, governance, audit, legal, retention practices, and standards
Intake, provision, and deploy solutions across lines of business
Lead platform availability, resilience, and scalability
Collaborate with Architecture to align platforms with current architecture and configuration
Encourage innovation, automation, cutting-edge technology, inclusion, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity in legacy processes
Develop and use best practices to improve platform user experience
Collaborate with Software Engineers to ensure software works seamlessly on platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree
At least 3 years of experience supporting or maintaining cross-platform integrations or system connectivity
At least 3 years of experience developing or supporting API-based integrations using scripting or orchestration tools
At least 1 year of experience driving testing, testing frameworks, or integrating new platforms
Experience with Google Workspace features and best practices
Working knowledge of Docker, ECS, Ansible, Terraform, and AWS tools and services
Experience in application security, logging and monitoring, and auditability of access controls and data security and integrity
Experience in content management technologies for data classification, data labeling, data encryption, data pipelines and automation
Integration knowledge and REST APIs experience
Excellent written and verbal communication on technical topics and issues

Preferred: 4+ years in a cloud-based environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Preferred: 3+ years with deployment tooling (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory)
Preferred: 3+ years in Agile practices
Preferred: experience managing identity and access within systems
Preferred: 4+ years implementing or maintaining API-based integrations
Preferred: experience collaborating with architects or platform teams on integration frameworks and reference architectures
Preferred: 2+ years automating infrastructure or system configuration with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar technologies
Preferred: 2+ years administering Google Workspace or similar enterprise productivity suite
Preferred: familiarity with CloudWatch, Splunk, or Datadog
Preferred: experience mentoring engineers or leading small integration-focused initiatives
