About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the ongoing advancement of cybersecurity capabilities and services
  • Partner with stakeholders and conduct assessments to determine capability effectiveness and risk management practices using tools and frameworks such as NIST CSF
  • Leverage cybersecurity data from multiple sources to produce insights, risk indicators, and program metrics
  • Provide expertise during control and risk assessments
  • Document, assign ownership of, and track issues and remediation plans to closure
  • Drive adoption of automation and tooling for control monitoring, issue management, and risk reporting workflows
  • Synthesize and present cyber-risk insights for senior management forums
  • Highlight trends, systemic issues, and risk-reduction opportunities
  • Mentor and guide associates, fostering consistent application of cyber-risk management methodologies and professional growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology
  • At least 4 years of experience evaluating, contributing to, or supporting development of cybersecurity capabilities
  • No employer-sponsored employment authorization or immigration support available
  • 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity frameworks and concepts such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, CMMC, and FedRAMP
  • 5+ years of experience analyzing or developing solutions for cyber threats, vulnerabilities, risks, or events
  • 5+ years of experience presenting cybersecurity information to stakeholders
  • 4+ years of experience in multi-cloud environments
  • 4+ years of experience using security tools such as Splunk, CrowdStrike, Qualys, or AWS Security Hub
  • 2+ years of experience conducting investigations into cyber-enabled fraud, cybercrime, or advanced persistent threats
  • 2+ years of experience with fraud methodologies, technologies, and trends in first- and third-party fraud
  • 2+ years of experience building relational database queries to analyze complex datasets for cyber fraud indicators
  • 2+ years of programming or scripting experience with SQL, Python, Perl, PHP, or PowerShell
  • 3+ years of experience working in public cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • 3+ years of experience in a highly regulated industry
  • 1+ year of experience with Generative and Agentic AI tools
  • 2+ years of experience developing or interpreting cybersecurity metrics or dashboards
  • Familiarity with industry governance or financial governance processes
  • Experience with risk management concepts
  • Ability to perform security incident analysis and assist with resolution
  • Ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders
