About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support execution and day-to-day operations of the enterprise Risk Appetite Framework and risk metric programs
Drive project management and milestone execution for the risk metrics system of record initiative and other strategic team projects
Execute and enhance Risk Appetite and risk metric strategies, methodologies, governance, and reporting
Cultivate data sources for metrics/reporting and define requirements for an enterprise risk metric system of record
Perform and support detailed validation data analysis, including trending, problem identification, and remediation plans
Consult on analysis and reporting outcomes to identify trends and provide insights into changes in the Company’s risk environments
Collaborate with stakeholders and leaders across multiple organizations
Support internal control testing, audits, and regulatory exams
Monitor the changing regulatory environment and understand impacts to Capital One
Balance multiple priorities while managing risk management initiatives and supporting team objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 4 years of experience in Project or Process Management
At least 4 years of Financial Services or Risk Management experience
At least 4 years of experience in metric analysis or governance reporting
Master’s Degree preferred
5+ years of experience in project, process, or framework management preferred
5+ years of Financial Services risk management experience preferred
2+ years of internal strategy or management consulting experience preferred
