About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with software engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-performing features for 100M+ customers
Provide technical leadership for mobile architecture and design patterns
Mentor engineers through feedback, code reviews, and platform-specific best practices
Develop subject matter expertise in performance, accessibility, and architecture
Contribute to mobile architecture decisions, API design reviews, and reusable component development
Lead design and development of client Backend-for-Frontends and Server-Driven UI architectures
Lead engineering practices for feature flags and staged rollouts
Champion adoption of agentic AI tools and AI-native development practices
Make hands-on technical contributions using advanced mobile ecosystem capabilities and UI patterns
Establish high standards for coding, testing, performance, accessibility, and user experience

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply)
At least 3 years of experience building native mobile applications for Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift)
No employer-sponsored immigration or work-authorization support for new applicants
Preferred: 4+ years of experience building native mobile applications for Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift)
Preferred: Experience with SwiftUI or Jetpack Compose
Preferred: Experience designing automated mobile testing suites using Swift Testing, XCUI, JUnit, or Espresso
Preferred: Experience with performance tuning and optimization on native mobile platforms
Preferred: Experience designing scalable mobile architectures and reusable component libraries
Preferred: Experience with modular architecture and modern state management patterns
Preferred: Experience designing and developing client Backend-for-Frontends using GraphQL and gRPC/Protobuf
Preferred: Experience with Server-Driven UI architectures
Preferred: Experience with metrics-driven staged rollout and feature flag strategies
Preferred: Expertise with agentic AI coding tools and AI-assisted workflow patterns
Preferred: Familiarity with CoreML or TensorFlow Lite
