About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Directly own project plans, manage daily tasks, track milestones, and keep projects on schedule
  • Identify rollout delays or bottlenecks and develop mitigation plans with cross-functional partners
  • Facilitate recurring tactical syncs between internal teams and external suppliers
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for supplier Project Managers
  • Align external partners with Capital One’s technical and timing requirements
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Technical Leads to translate system requirements into supplier tasks
  • Review and validate internal and supplier test results and outputs
  • Maintain project documentation, decision logs, and supplier readiness checklists
  • Identify, document, and track technical or operational bugs through resolution
  • Apply operations expertise to improve efficiency and reduce risk
  • Integrate stakeholders to drive accountability, technical readiness, and fulfillment targets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in Project or Process Management
  • At least 1 year of experience in Third-Party Vendor Management
  • At least 1 year of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in Project or Process Management preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in Third-Party Vendor Management preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in Commercial Printing methodologies preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in Credit or Debit Card Fulfillment Operations preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience with US Card operations or TSYS platform knowledge preferred
  • Business Process Management (BPM), Lean, or Agile Certification preferred
  • Strong subject matter expertise or rapid learning agility in card personalization and manufacturing processes
  • Exceptional project management capability
  • Strategic, proactive problem-solving, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • No new employment authorization sponsorship or immigration-related support is available
  • Regular field travel for sales, customer, or site visits is required
