About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support a well-managed agenda through individual performance and critical thinking
- Support and drive positive outcomes for audits/exams, risk assessments, Process Level Assessments, business continuity, control evaluation, control testing, control builds, and process management/improvement
- Partner with risk management, event management, and compliance teams to contain, recover/remediate, document, and prevent future breakdowns
- Recommend and drive outcomes that mitigate risks while maintaining or enhancing business value
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to influence decision-making and alignment
- Support and execute strategic programs and initiatives strengthening process foundations, including Manage External Affiliate Marketing
- Collaborate with business leaders, Risk Managers, Audit, Legal, Compliance, and intent partners
- Recommend and prioritize work based on urgency, impact, customer experience, risks, and business value
- Develop expertise in formal and informal controls, including FUSE controls, and improve control effectiveness
- Recommend and implement new controls where needed
- Provide subject-matter expertise in risk evaluation, process governance, and continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate process documentation, identify gaps, and create documentation as needed
- Oversee the required process testing calendar, including preparedness and assessment support
- Continuously assess processes and identify opportunities to streamline and improve efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
- At least 3 years of Project Management or Process Management Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience (preferred)
- Six Sigma, Lean, Internal COF BPM or PMP Certification(s) (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or audit (preferred)
- 4+ years of Project Management or Process Management Experience (preferred)
- Experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients (preferred)
- Experience utilizing AI tools such as Gemini, Claude, or ChatGPT to create process efficiencies (preferred)
