Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with hiring managers, business/group/organization leads, and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs
Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process and hiring deliverables
Create compelling position descriptions
Source diverse candidate pipelines and market Capital One’s talent brand
Screen candidates and advise business partners on the recruiting process
Negotiate job offers
Develop and execute sourcing plans to identify and recruit top talent
Own candidate development from identification and engagement through offer extension and closing
Work cross-functionally across a high-performing recruiter team
Leverage recruiting data to provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners
Source candidates through search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and innovative sourcing techniques
Keep abreast of recruiting trends and innovative recruiting techniques
Participate in projects that enhance the recruiting experience

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 5 years of experience in recruiting OR 5 years of experience in human resources OR 5 years of client consulting experience OR a combination of the three
Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
7+ years of experience in Corporate Recruiting – full life cycle, research, and sourcing preferred
6+ years experience consulting with multiple hiring managers at once while developing and enhancing excellent working relationships with those managers and their teams preferred
Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment
Ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse talent
Experience in compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring
