About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute major components of audits covering critical technology functions, cloud-based infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk management, applications, and third-party management
Assist in leading components of small to medium-sized audits
Perform risk assessments of business units and technology operations
Design and execute audit procedures to verify control effectiveness
Identify and define issues, review and analyze evidence, and document client processes and procedures
Assess financial, legal, reputational, and other implications of business and technology risks
Establish and maintain client relationships during engagements
Communicate audit results to management through written reports and oral presentations
Prepare clear, organized, and complete documentation
Plan and prioritize work across multiple tasks and priorities
Coordinate with teammates and take on additional work
Communicate audit information, issues, and progress to teammates, clients, and the auditor-in-charge
Perform engagement administration, including hours and budget tracking
Provide on-the-job coaching and direct supervision to less experienced associates

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 3 years of experience in technology, cybersecurity, technology auditing, systems risk management, technology risk assessments, resilience engineering, chaos engineering, site reliability engineering, or a combination
At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing and controls
At least 2 years of experience managing components of audit engagements, project management, or a combination
At least 2 years of experience analyzing data extracts to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
At least 1 year of experience in test scripting or coding
No employer immigration sponsorship or immigration-related work authorization support available for new applicants
Preferred: cloud, cyber, technology operations, auditing, CIA, CISA, CISSP, or CISM certifications
Preferred: 4+ years of experience with IT control frameworks
Preferred: 2+ years of experience planning and leading audits
Preferred: 2+ years of experience auditing cyber or information security
Preferred: 1+ years of experience auditing emerging technologies
Preferred: 1+ years of experience using AWS, GCP, or Azure for cloud computing or auditing cloud-based controls
Preferred: 1+ years of experience in risk and data management
Preferred: 1+ years of experience performing data analysis for internal auditing
