About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead cross-functional initiatives to simplify and standardize risk processes
Leverage data analysis and operational insights to identify core problems and formulate effective solutions
Collaborate with 1st Line and 2nd Line stakeholders to align strategies and ensure consistent execution across business lines
Partner with technology, product, and data teams to implement required system and process updates
Design and implement risk metrics to measure framework effectiveness and process health
Lead training across lines of defense to ensure consistent adoption and execution
Establish and manage guidance to ensure consistent execution across business lines
Deliver reporting and executive-level presentations providing leadership with real-time risk visibility
Develop practical solutions to improve risk management processes using data and technology
Participate in and execute other special projects for the team periodically

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 3 years of Risk Management experience
5+ years of experience in process management (preferred)
3+ years of experience responding to and interacting with internal audit or regulatory agencies (preferred)
Strong subject matter expertise in controls development, controls management, controls testing, and reporting activities
Experience working in an iterative, highly collaborative environment
Experience working in the financial services industry
Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance software tools
