About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Understand CFRM’s strategy and contribute to its evolution
Help communicate CFRM responsibilities and activities
Assist in managing internal audit engagements impacting CFRM from the auditee side
Facilitate risk assessments, process-level assessments, risk and control self-assessments, and control testing
Provide counsel and guidance on control enhancements and risk mitigation
Monitor issue remediation, tracking, and closure across CFRM governance processes
Use industry benchmarking, AI-powered tools, and best practices to automate workflows and improve BAU processes
Analyze data to identify risks, trends, and process improvements
Evaluate changing regulatory and business environment impacts on CFRM risk management
Collaborate with CFRM Risk Advisors, business stakeholders, Audit, ERM, and other three-lines-of-defense professionals
Support special projects and engagements with the Risk Management Team and Leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 2 years of experience consulting, auditing, or working in model and data, or risk management
Understanding of banking activities and the three lines of defense framework
Experience using AI-powered tools or automation to drive process efficiencies
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including preparing clear presentation materials and providing counsel to business partners
Strong process management and organizational skills with attention to detail
Knowledge and experience using Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs, etc.)
Ability to navigate ambiguity and establish credibility across organizational levels
