Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement using analysis and make strategic or tactical recommendations
  • Perform modeling and analytics to support new product and pricing strategies for lending products
  • Support direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and strategic intent for retail-channel products
  • Build targeted insights for new customer experiences, technology, and go-to-market strategies
  • Improve credit performance by connecting future consumer credit trends to historical behavior, creating risk models, and testing hypotheses through monitoring and analysis
  • Frame problems, develop and test hypotheses, develop solutions, assess operational feasibility, lead implementation, and develop monitoring plans
  • Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other colleagues to improve quality, volume, service, and profitability
  • Apply strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges in a collaborative environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 2 years of professional experience performing analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, or Master's degree in a quantitative field/MBA with a quantitative concentration, with the required degree obtained by the scheduled start date
  • Proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics
  • Strong quantitative orientation
  • Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity
  • Impeccable written and oral communication skills
  • Strategic influencing, interpersonal, negotiation, and agreement-building skills
  • Results orientation and ability to execute in uncertain and fluid environments
  • Successful track record in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Business or quantitative field
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in statistical model building
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in market research
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in SQL querying
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in business analysis
