About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Shape product requirements and build a data access-layer solution for Capital One’s businesses
Collaborate cross-functionally with technology teams, designers, data scientists, subject-matter experts, and partner teams
Build comprehensive acceptance criteria and identify needs for additional research
Break down business epics into features and user stories, driving toward minimal viable products
Use hypothesis-driven data assessment to ensure products and features meet business needs
Own and prioritize feature development roadmaps while following risk-management processes and procedures
Conduct research and develop features using new and evolving technology in an agile environment
Build cutting-edge solutions and well-managed product platforms for customers
Participate in horizontal forums and develop relationships with technology teams, designers, stakeholders, and partner teams
Articulate product roadmaps, communicate business value to stakeholders, and elevate team results

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 1 year of product management experience, or at least 1 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
Preferred: 1+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer-facing digital products
Preferred: 1+ years of experience working on core product platforms powering digital experiences
Preferred: 1+ years working with cross-functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process
