About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, deliver, and sustain Digital Banking’s well-managed agenda
Oversee the project management lifecycle for control-related initiatives
Solve complex problems and consult on new capabilities
Build, enhance, and manage processes and controls
Drive preventive-control implementation to minimize risk and improve operational efficiency
Partner with Risk Management to identify, assess, and mitigate risks involving data management and data movement systems
Collaborate with Product Management and Technology teams to integrate controls into feature design and development
Present insights and recommendations to management
Monitor digital platform releases and business-as-usual operations using established metrics
Establish technical, client, and associate performance metrics and manage improvement opportunities to closure
Author and coordinate the Digital Banking Team’s monthly business review
Co-lead associate and client experience data collection, leadership-team reporting, and initiative prioritization
Manage compliance, process, risk, and regulatory reporting, including controls, process maps, and risk findings
Identify and implement process improvements for platform management, fraud, business operations, and cybersecurity operations
Maintain platform documentation, policies, and standards
Support compliance management, risk management, regulatory agencies, and internal controls
Assist with vendor performance and portfolio management
Monitor control reporting, investigate issues, conduct root-cause research, and drive systemic enhancements and automation
Plan and execute end-to-end control testing
Assess automated, hybrid, and manual control effectiveness
Create and maintain testing documentation, including BRDs, rationale, and findings/issues reports
Identify control weaknesses and recommend remediation
Lead risk-event identification, containment, and remediation while coordinating fixes and recovery efforts
Drive risk-related projects to meet scope, timelines, and deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 3 years of experience in Project Management or Process Management
At least 2 years of experience supporting platform governance, compliance activities, or operational controls for internal business platforms
At least 2 years of experience in Risk Controls or Auditing
At least 2 years of experience working with analytical, data management, or software engineering teams
At least 2 years of experience with Google Suite
At least 1 year of experience using AI Tools (Claude, Gemini)
Must not require employer immigration support or sponsorship for employment authorization
Strong project and process management skills
Understanding of regulatory and operational risk, process management frameworks, risk and control methodology, and control testing methodology
Preferred: Master's Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or MBA
Preferred: 1+ years of experience in Strategic Planning
Preferred: 3+ years of Financial Services industry experience
Preferred: 3+ years of regulatory compliance or credit experience
Preferred: 2+ years of Technology Project Delivery experience
Preferred: 2+ years supporting, partnering, or interacting with internal business clients
Preferred: 1+ years using Snowflake or Databricks
Preferred: 1+ years of Jira experience
Preferred: 1+ years leveraging SQL or Python
Preferred: Process or Project Management certification (Scaled Agile, Lean, PMP, or Six Sigma)
