About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute test procedures for critical technology functions, cloud-based infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk management, applications, and third-party management
Perform risk assessments of business activities and conduct relevant testing based on identified risks and processes
Communicate issues, risks, and recommendations to all levels of management
Operate independently and complete work on schedule to high-quality standards
Prepare clear, organized, and complete audit documentation
Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and the extended Audit group
Leverage data and analytical tools during audit planning and fieldwork
Follow up on agreed audit actions to ensure management commitments are delivered on schedule
Seek learning opportunities to enhance role-related skills and competencies
Audit critical technology functions including cloud-based technology implementations, application controls, and cybersecurity risks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 2 years of experience in technology, cybersecurity, technology auditing, systems risk management, technology risk assessments, resilience engineering, chaos engineering, site reliability engineering, or a combination
Preferred: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or relevant cloud and/or cyber certifications such as AWS certifications or CISSP
Preferred: 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, professional services serving clients in large banks, or a combination
Preferred: 3+ years of experience auditing or performing cyber or information security
Preferred: 2+ years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and controls, or 1+ years conducting audits of controls in cloud-based environments
No employer-sponsored immigration or employment authorization support; applicants requiring H1B, F-1 OPT/STEM OPT/CPT, J-1, TN, E-3, O-1, or other immigration support are not eligible
Ability to work in person 3 days per week at one of the listed offices
