About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct operational, financial, and compliance audit projects
Provide input to the annual audit plan
Perform risk assessments of business activities, potential exposures, and materiality of loss
Design and perform audit procedures to verify effectiveness
Design and execute internal control testing for moderately complex operations
Plan and perform audit tasks of moderate difficulty
Leverage data and analytical tools during audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting
Leverage and audit generative AI tools to improve audit efficiency
Assess the accuracy of AI-driven insights and validate outcomes against risk frameworks
Establish and maintain client relationships during engagements
Communicate audit project results to management through written reports and oral presentations
Coach and invest in team development
Maintain ethical standards and contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 2 years of experience in auditing, accounting, financial analysis, compliance, or a combination
Ability to perform risk assessments and internal control testing
Data analytics and technical knowledge
Experience leveraging and auditing generative AI tools
Ability to communicate audit results through written reports and oral presentations
Ability to maintain organizational and professional ethical standards
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or MBA
Preferred: CIA, CPA, CRCM, CISA, or CBA certification
Preferred: 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or a professional services firm serving large-bank clients
Preferred: 2+ years of experience auditing Bank and Support Functions areas
Preferred: 2+ years of experience performing data analysis for internal auditing
Preferred: Experience using and auditing AI-driven tools and processes
