About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a greenfield initiative to build an enterprise-scale third-party management product from the ground up
  • Design and deliver a first-of-its-kind third-party management system across Capital One’s network
  • Develop business strategies driving growth, profitability, and competitive success
  • Manage and develop multiple analysts; coach and mentor associates
  • Develop and implement product and pricing strategies for lending products
  • Lead product-level data modeling and analytics
  • Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and strategic intent for retail-channel products
  • Build targeted insights for new customer experiences, technology, and go-to-market strategies
  • Improve credit performance through consumer credit trend analysis, risk modeling, and hypothesis testing
  • Manage and sequence business-intent delivery, build business requirements, and execute product strategy
  • Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently
  • Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other Capital One teams to improve quality, volume, service, and profitability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience performing quantitative analysis
  • At least 5 years of experience performing qualitative analysis
  • At least 3 years of experience performing people management
  • At least 3 years of experience performing project management
  • Strong strategic and analytical orientation
  • Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity
  • Solid people leadership experience
  • Strong executive communication skills
  • Strategic influencing, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Clear results orientation
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment
  • Previous consulting experience is a plus
  • Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree
  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience in people management
