Key responsibilities & impact

Utilize data management metrics and insights to influence senior business leaders
Apply data governance processes and controls to proactively mitigate risks
Provide strategic program leadership and drive program alignment in a complex regulated environment
Lead large-scale Risk Management Program Management/Governance
Design, develop, and manage risk management-focused project plans
Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget while managing risk
Communicate program requirements to internal and external stakeholders
Partner cross-functionally to drive project delivery
Report program status, risks, issues and decisions across the company
Lead critical assessments on risk categories
Build relationships with key stakeholders to deliver commitments
Consult strategically with Accountable Executives and partner teams
Problem-solve with cross-functional teams on issues and opportunities
Design and drive a transformation vision
Identify opportunities for continued business improvement
Improve policies, processes, controls, and procedures
Assist with audits and regulatory exams
Coach and develop direct reports, extended team members and third-party resources

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or military experience
At least 8 years of experience in Risk Management, Project Management, Operations, Compliance, or Process Management
At least 8 years of people leadership experience
At least 7 years of program management experience
At least 7 years of experience supporting, partnering or interacting with internal business clients
Excellent leadership, problem solving, communication and influence skills
Proven track record of excellent project management in a highly regulated environment
Ability to work in a dynamic, complex environment and balance multiple stakeholder needs
Preferred: Master’s Degree or Juris Doctor
Preferred: 10+ years of experience in Risk Management, Project Management, Operations, Compliance, or Process Management
Preferred: 10+ years of program management experience
Preferred: 10+ years of people management experience
Preferred: 5+ years of experience leading cross functional programs and projects in risk
Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
