About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create strategy and lead a team through high priority projects for the company
  • Collaborate with leaders to influence results impacting the company’s bottom line
  • Lead the Money Movement team, including Settlement, Billing, Incentives, Disputes, and ownership of the Supplier Strategy supporting PULSE Operations
  • Lead moderate-sized teams driving complex projects and programs through strategic direction
  • Design, develop, and manage project plans in a complex, dynamic environment
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget while managing risk
  • Partner cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
  • Use influencing skills to drive project and program efforts
  • Establish project structure and manage several initiatives simultaneously
  • Coach and develop associates through leadership
  • Understand project goals, propose effective plans, and leverage data and metrics to deliver results
  • Prioritize and toggle between multiple projects with urgency and adaptability
  • Collaborate with Capital One's risk management organizations
  • Contribute beyond the scope of the role as a team player

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Process Management
  • At least 2 years of experience in People Management
  • At least 2 years of experience in Project management
  • At least 2 years of experience in Strategic planning
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Industrial engineering, Process engineering, Process management, Systems engineering, Management, Business or Business Administration (MBA)
  • Preferred: Process or Project Management certification (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, PMP), Business Management certification
  • Preferred: 5 years of experience in Process Management
  • Preferred: 5 years of experience in People Management
