About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define the 2–3 year strategic roadmap and testing agenda for destination conversion experiences across BC&P acquisition channels
Lead innovation in decisioning strategy, including testing and scaling Soft Pull Direct Apply, optimizing multi-product pre-approval offers, and incorporating upstream marketing and risk signals into underwriting
Optimize application funnel throughput through UX testing and friction-reduction measures, including removing or pre-filling application questions
Lead a team of analysts and indirectly lead dedicated product and technology teams
Develop business strategies driving growth, profitability, and competitive success
Potentially own a business segment and provide P&L accountability
Develop and implement product and pricing strategies for lending products and lead product-level modeling and analytics
Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and develop customer experience and go-to-market strategies
Improve credit performance through trend analysis, risk modeling, hypothesis testing, monitoring, and analysis
Coordinate delivery across lines of business, build business requirements, and execute product strategy
Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently
Partner with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other Capital One teams
Coach and mentor associates and develop high-performing teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree
At least 3 years of experience performing quantitative analysis
At least 3 years of experience performing qualitative analysis
At least 1 year of experience performing people management
At least 1 year of experience performing project management
Master’s Degree in Business or a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, or Engineering (preferred)
5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis (preferred)
5+ years of experience in qualitative analysis (preferred)
2+ years of experience in people management (preferred)
2+ years of experience in product development (preferred)
2+ years of experience in financial modeling (preferred)
2+ years of experience in economic forecasting (preferred)
2+ years of experience in project management (preferred)
Successful track record in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment
Previous consulting experience is a plus
