About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own liquidity and cash management, cash forecasting methodology, treasury KPIs and dashboards, funding strategy, and bank account strategy and controls
  • Drive strategic decision-making for specialized cash management requests and initiatives
  • Manage internal and external relationships with stakeholders, external partners, and financial institutions
  • Own the Treasury control environment and establish segregation of duties
  • Identify process improvements, optimize cash flow trends, and drive automation opportunities
  • Lead, manage, and mentor Associates and Senior Associates
  • Create materials, analysis, and presentations for senior leaders and cross-functional partners
  • Manage processes and team members within the Regulatory Reporting team, including offshore resources
  • Oversee the offshore vendor relationship and day-to-day offshore deliverables
  • Oversee recurring regulatory reporting deliverables and month-end consolidation using Hyperion
  • Manage the Hyperion regulatory reporting tool
  • Streamline reporting workflows and drive operational efficiencies through automated regulatory reporting
  • Drive internal governance processes and process excellence initiatives across the reporting function
  • Partner with regulatory agencies, internal audit, accounting, treasury, regulatory compliance, and legal teams
  • Participate in cross-functional corporate and regulatory initiatives, including Basel II implementations and loan platform conversions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
  • Bachelors Degree or military experience
  • Prior regulatory reporting experience at mid to large size financial institution
  • Prior public accounting experience
  • Prior external financial reporting experience
  • Strong management experience, including management of an off-shore vendor
  • CPA preferred
