Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers building solutions that meet regulatory needs
Mentor engineering talent and promote participation in technology communities
Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions for millions of Americans
Lead teams using Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, open-source relational and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools and services
Lead multiple Agile engineering teams or programs and ensure delivery of large-scale cross-functional initiatives
Define multi-year technology roadmaps and investment priorities with product, architecture, and platform leaders
Develop and manage Lead Engineers and leads, including succession planning and leadership scaling
Align engineering execution with enterprise goals and influence portfolio-level decisions and trade-offs
Drive end-to-end design and implementation of large-scale distributed or cloud-native systems requiring high reliability and performance
Build and deploy proprietary AI-powered risk management solutions with the GRC team and company partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
At least 6 years of experience in software engineering; internship experience does not apply
At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
At least 3 years of people management experience
Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred: experience with architectural design reviews, databases, cloud platforms, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, open source frameworks, JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, programming languages, AI-based coding tools, multi-team engineering organizations, engineering OKRs, organization design, talent strategy, and executive technology roadmaps
