About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary strategic orchestrator across Capital One’s Technology Strategic Workforce Planning ecosystem
  • Synthesize operational inputs into a unified, end-to-end strategic labor roadmap and automated decision-support infrastructure
  • Convert financial budget models into actionable headcount targets, skill profiles, and organizational design frameworks
  • Build self-service reporting dashboards and deliver executive-ready narratives for senior leadership
  • Lead moderate to large complex projects and programs
  • Design, develop, and adapt project plans as requirements and goals shift
  • Ensure comprehensive project documentation and governance to manage risks and support on-time delivery
  • Apply problem-solving and analytical skills to align project execution with business intent
  • Partner with project customers and cross-functional teams to drive delivery
  • Inform, align, and influence stakeholders across the company
  • Establish frameworks and organization for complex workstreams
  • Coach, mentor, develop, and grow a team of associates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 8 years of Project Management experience
  • At least 2 years of people management experience
  • No new employment authorization sponsorship or immigration-related support
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Preferred: 9+ years of Project Management experience
  • Preferred: 3+ years of people management experience
  • Preferred: PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
