About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the end-to-end technology and cyber risk partner for senior technology executives
- Provide comprehensive support to engineering organizations and drive the strategic vision for risk assessment and management programs
- Design and implement AI applications, agents, and automation workflows for risk monitoring efficiency
- Govern the responsible implementation of AI and technology innovation
- Rationalize technology and cyber controls and influence updates to enterprise policies, standards, and control descriptions
- Execute large-scale architecture transformation programs and technology integrations
- Oversee project scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Collaborate with Cyber, Audit, and Risk functions on shared controls, risk identification, and mitigation strategies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for audit and compliance engagements
- Create high-level reporting and metrics for leadership on the overall risk environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 3 years of People Management experience
- At least 7 years of experience in technology, cybersecurity, technology auditing, systems risk management, technology risk assessments, resilience engineering, chaos engineering, site reliability engineering, or a combination
- No employer-sponsored immigration support or work authorization sponsorship for new applicants
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent
- Preferred: Certified AI Governance Professional (AIGP) certification or other relevant AI risk management certifications
- Preferred: Experience in a large financial services or consulting organization
- Preferred: 7+ years of Risk Management experience in Cyber or Information Security practice
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience in a second-line or oversight role at a financial institution or regulatory agency
- Preferred: Professional Security Certification or Professional Risk Management Certification
- Preferred: CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or Open FAIR Certified
