About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive strategy and execute on high-priority projects for Capital One
Work with stakeholders across the company to deliver results impacting the company’s bottom line
Partner with Communications and Business leaders and colleagues across the Enterprise to drive strategic priorities
Act as an Individual Contributor focused on project management for critical initiatives supporting the Global Payment Network and Technology organization
Lead project management for critical initiatives in partnership with Communications, Marketing, Business, and Legal teams
Draft strategic communications updates for key executive forums
Identify and pilot opportunities to responsibly integrate AI tools into strategic operations workflows
Improve efficiency in data synthesis, reporting, and team process optimization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 6 years of experience in Strategic Operations, Project Management, Management Consulting, HR Strategy, Chief of Staff, HRBP role or combination
At least 1 year of experience in roadmap alignment, governance structures, and change management
At least 3 years of experience working with senior stakeholders across different business functions
At least 3 years of experience writing communications and presentations for leadership and non-leadership audiences
Exceptional writing and visual storytelling skills
Highly organized with great attention to detail
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
Experience with Payments or Technology industries
3+ years of experience driving organizational change and operational excellence
4+ years of experience working closely with Executive leadership
Familiarity with leveraging AI technologies to enhance operational productivity, analyze qualitative data insights, or streamline project delivery
