About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the Commercial Bank Policy Office by writing, updating, and socializing relevant policies, standards, and procedures
  • Support Regulatory Change Management by researching, analyzing, and documenting impacts of new or changed Federal and State laws, rules, regulations, and resulting legal requirements
  • Assist the Commercial Bank Cross Border Banking program by assessing risks associated with foreign borrowers and regulatory requirements
  • Support International Risk through Country Risk Assessments and drafting Country Exit Plans for in-scope countries
  • Provide comprehensive support for strategic reporting routines, ensuring metrics are accurate and actionable for senior executive stakeholders
  • Lead daily task execution across the team’s scope, ensuring consistent delivery against project milestones and operational requirements
  • Serve as the primary coverage resource for key team functions during periods of transition or leave
  • Develop and document a horizontal engagement model clarifying roles, interactions, and responsibilities across team functions
  • Collaborate with Commercial Risk, Compliance, Legal, and groups across the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of Financial Services or Risk Management experience
  • Commercial Bank experience preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in a risk-related role (audit, 1st line, 2nd line) preferred
