Drive innovation and optimize business outcomes through strong technology solutions
Lead technical contributions and advise on key technologies, platforms, and capability domains
Create communications, code samples, blog posts, and other knowledge-sharing materials
Provide technical authority and architectural vision during critical technology outages
Lead cross-functional teams during incidents to minimize downtime
Conduct systemic root cause analyses and resolve underlying architectural weaknesses
Define and champion enterprise-wide standards for observability, disaster recovery, and chaos engineering
Mentor engineering teams and help recruit and develop technical talent
Articulate technical vision and decompose complex problems into practical operational solutions
Ensure technical design and implementation quality
Advise on performance, scalability, and operability
Manage multiple projects and maximize technical impact
Modernize monolithic systems into microservice architectures and event-driven platforms
Collaborate with senior engineering and architecture leaders on platform strategy and API standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
At least 9 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), and data architecture
Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Preferred: 12+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, web technologies, distributed HPC and ML systems, cloud computing, and data architecture
12+ years of professional experience coding in languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, Scala
10+ years of experience with databases and database management systems
12+ years of professional experience across the full system development lifecycle
10+ years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
12+ years of experience with networking protocols and integration with third-party distributed systems
7+ years of experience mentoring senior engineers and driving professional development within technical teams
3+ years of experience leading cross-domain architectural reviews or establishing coding and design standards
Expertise in the strategic application of agentic AI coding tools
