Key responsibilities & impact

Define the future of banking in the cloud as a technical expert
Devise practical and reusable solutions to complex problems
Drive innovation and optimize business outcomes while delivering strong technology solutions
Promote engineering excellence and an inclusive engineering culture
Mentor engineers and help recruit next-generation technical talent
Serve as a trusted advisor for key technologies, platforms, and capability domains
Create communications, code samples, blog posts, and other knowledge-sharing materials
Partner with Product and Engineering teams in the Servicing Platform space
Build and improve enterprise-scale platforms for security, performance, maintainability, and usability
Articulate and evangelize technical vision
Decompose complex problems into practical, operational solutions
Ensure quality of technical design and implementation
Advise on performance, scalability, and operability
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Modernize monolithic systems into microservice architectures and event-driven platforms
Collaborate with senior engineering and architecture leaders on platform strategy and API standards

Balance hands-on technical contribution with mentoring and elevating peers and junior engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture
At least 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns
At least 7 years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
At least 7 years of experience in data architecture
Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Preferred: 10+ years of professional experience coding in Java, Python, or Go
Preferred: 8+ years of professional experience across the full lifecycle of system development
Experience architecting AI-driven solutions and workflows
