About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and evangelize a technical vision for the domain

- Provide hands-on technical contribution while elevating peers and junior engineers
- Lead cross-divisional projects promoting technology best practices
- Design, build, and operate high-volume, low-latency, resilient digital payments systems and infrastructure
- Contribute to tokenization platforms enabling secure commerce through online payments, Apple Pay, and Google Pay
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), and data architecture
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, web technologies, distributed HPC and ML systems, cloud computing, and data architecture
- Preferred: 10+ years of professional experience coding in Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala
- Preferred: 8+ years of experience with database and database management systems
- Preferred: 10+ years of professional experience across the full system development lifecycle
- Preferred: 8+ years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience with networking protocols and third-party distributed systems
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience mentoring senior engineers and driving professional development within technical teams
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience leading cross-domain architectural reviews and establishing coding and design standards
- Expertise in the strategic application of agentic AI coding tools
