About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and continuously improve the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes and offboarding
  • Optimise and scale People processes, identifying automation and efficiency opportunities
  • Partner with leaders and managers on People policies, processes and queries
  • Support people integration aspects of M&A activity, including onboarding, data management and process alignment
  • Manage and enhance People systems and data
  • Produce reporting on headcount, engagement, attrition and performance
  • Use HiBob, Deel, automation and AI to reduce manual effort
  • Use employee feedback, data insights and operational trends to improve employee experience
  • Own payroll inputs, compensation updates and benefits administration across the UK, US and ROW
  • Support annual People cycles, including compensation reviews, performance processes, engagement initiatives and organisational changes
  • Ensure compliance and governance across People processes and documentation
  • Coordinate and deliver bi-monthly Town Halls
  • Create and maintain People communications and employee-facing content
  • Support inclusion, belonging and wellbeing initiatives
  • Champion DEI&B across people experiences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in a senior People Operations or People Experience role within a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment
  • Proactive self-starter who brings structure and continuous improvement
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS management and automation, ideally HiBob
  • Experience with payroll and EOR platforms, ideally Deel
  • Interest in using AI to improve People operations
  • Experience with onboarding at scale, including bulk onboarding
  • Ideally, exposure to M&A integration
  • Experience supporting employee engagement and reward initiatives in a growing organisation
  • Some exposure to compensation processes
  • Good understanding of employment legislation and compliance across multiple regions
  • Ability to collaborate, challenge confidently and juggle multiple priorities with good judgement
