About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the reliability and compliance of the Group’s accounting information
- Lead monthly and annual financial closings with an accounting assistant
- Maintain and oversee the French entity’s general accounting using Pennylane
- Handle mandatory tax filings in France
- Coordinate accounting activities with external accounting firms internationally
- Review general ledgers prepared by external accounting firms
- Lead intercompany transaction reconciliations across the various entities
- Ensure the accuracy and security of customer invoicing, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable tracking
- Coordinate the preparation of annual statutory and consolidated audits
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial and accounting processes
- Collaborate with two accounting assistants and the VP of Finance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Higher education degree in accounting, finance, or management (DCG, DSCG, Master’s in Accounting, Control and Audit, business school degree, or equivalent)
- At least 5–8 years of experience in general accounting, audit, or accounting advisory
- Experience in an accounting or audit firm is highly desirable
- Excellent command of financial closings and balance sheet reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of French accounting principles and tax filing requirements in France
- Experience in a multi-entity or international environment is a strong advantage
- Ability to understand consolidation matters and intercompany transactions
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Knowledge of Pennylane accounting software is a plus
- Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required
- Highly autonomous and responsible, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
